Maternity Kits for Underprivileged Mothers

We at OUR IKIGAI Foundation are thrilled to announce our latest project—providing thoughtfully curated maternity kits to underprivileged mothers. Our goal is to offer these women a sense of comfort, dignity, and freedom during one of the most sensitive and life-changing phases of their lives.

Each kit includes all the essential items a new mother and her baby would need after childbirth, easing the burden of last-minute purchases and giving them space to rest and recover without stress.

But we’re not stopping there.

We will also be arranging expert sessions on breastfeeding and postpartum care, ensuring these mothers are not only equipped physically, but also emotionally and mentally supported. To further extend our care, we are launching a dedicated helpline in Kannada, so mothers can reach out for guidance, reassurance, or simply to talk—anytime they need.

This initiative is a dream come true for our foundation, and we hope to extend it to every mother in need across India. Because when a mother feels supported, an entire generation begins life on a stronger, healthier foundation.
